Martin Reilley

Martin Reilley is an attorney with Krankemann Law Offices P.C. and has been a trial lawyer his entire professional life, trying more than 50 jury trials to conclusion. For the first 18 years of his practice, Mr. Reilley was a defense attorney representing individuals and companies being sued in cases involving personal injury, professional malpractice (medical doctors and hospitals, architects, real estate agents and brokers), product liability, wrongful termination, and construction defects.  Since 1997, Mr. Reilley has primarily represented plaintiffs in civil actions, concentrating on claims involving wrongful death, severe or catastrophic personal injuries, elder financial abuse, insurance bad-faith, and fraud. 

Mr. Reilley has been given an AV Preeminent rating by Martindale-Hubbell, the highest possible rating in both legal ability and ethical standards. In 1993, Mr. Reilley was elected into the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA).  Membership in ABOTA is by invitation only and is open exclusively to those attorneys who not only qualify by reason of having extensive jury trial experience, but also "who are considered by their peers to be of high personal character and honorable reputation."  ABOTA is considered as one of the most prestigious trial lawyer groups in the country.

Since 2005, Mr. Reilley has been selected as one of Northern California's "Super Lawyers." Only 5% of the state's lawyers are selected for inclusion in Super Lawyers.  "This organization recognizes those attorneys who have attained a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement."  The selection process includes independent research, peer nominations and peer evaluations.

In 2014, Mr. Reilley was invited for membership in The National Trial Lawyers: Top 100 Trial Lawyers, "a premier group of attorneys who practice civil plaintiff or criminal defense law.  Membership into this organization is by invitation only and is extended to those lawyers who exemplify superior qualifications, trial results, and leadership in their respective state or major geographical area."

During his third year at Santa Clara University School of Law, Mr. Reilley had the distinct honor of serving as a Judicial Extern for California Supreme Court Justice William P. Clark.  Justice Clark's devotion to the law, professionalism, humility and civility towards all has always served as an example to emulate.

When not practicing law, Mr. Reilley has been an active member of the Sonoma County community.  Mr. Reilley is a past board member and past board president of Ursuline High School.  Mr. Reilley has also served on the board of the American Heart Association and the Luther Burbank Center, now known as the Wells Fargo Center for the Arts.  Mr. Reilley also serves as a CYA basketball coach at St. Eugene School.  Mr. Reilley was also a participant in the Santa Rosa Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Santa Rosa program (Class 9).
